Forks

Forks is a small town in Clallam County on the northwest end of the Olympic Peninsula. Originally known as the "logging capital of the world," Forks has recently recast itself as a tourist destination, as logging activity has declined. The area is popular for trout and salmon sport fishing, and also for its access to Olympic National Park. Forks is the site of the popular "Twilight" series of books about Vampires.


Sol Duc River

The Sol Duc River is a popular destination for hiking on the western edge of the Olympic National Park.

Confluence of the Sol Duc and Bogachiel

The meeting place of the Sol Duc river and the Bogachiel as they become the Quillayute River, before they head to the sea. This happens near Forks, Washington.
